I always thought my kids would be creative painter, writer, musicians, and there’s still hope, but right now they would rather throw crayons at each other and feed the clay to Miles. I cannot stand the mess.

Right now, Isaac is filling a cup to the brim with water and running it outside. He’s saying that they have made a pond, and they’re squealing and having the best time. He keeps saying it’s a good-for-nothing pond (?). Anyway, I cannot bring myself to go see it. I know where they are, but I have no clue what they are doing.

Ike just came in again and told me that Jude works for him.

I just noticed he’s wearing his rain boots.

I need a maid.

Ian is just now taking a nap at 5:00 PM. I think I look like I own a lot of cats.

If I had a tub of icing, I would eat it with a spoon.

I don’t even like icing.

I much prefer cookies.

Isaac just told me they are all messy and stuff.

Can anyone tell that I am so tired?

Colin (and LESLIE!!! holla!), you are wonderful for bringing lasagna to my house tonight. Also, we have a dear friend in town who prays with us and will just sit at our piano and sing his own music. Friends are beautiful.

Isaac just came in and said, you know, when you pour water into dirt, it really does turn into mud. It’s true.

By the way, I googled Alabama Chicken (b/c when I clicked on your link there wasn't any music to listen to, and I so want to shake my toucas like it's 1997)...and this is what I found: http://www.alabamachickenandeggfestival.com/. Guess what? It has nothing to do with Alabama Chicken and has everything to do with KFC nuggets and an egg fest in Alabama. I'm thinkin' we should go, because I imagine this is like the Yellville Turkey Trot Fest and cars getting hit by trains. You're not sure why (and you pray no one got hurt in the whole car/train 'thang') but they just beg to be stared at.

Cream cheese icing... 30 minutes in the freezer... straight out of the tub with a spoon can cure just about anything :)

I love the look of your blog. I have yet to get mine to look exactly how I want.(blue&brown: two faves) I'm more of a writer than a designer, plus I'm no good w/ photoshop and lack patience in the html department.

Glad y'all are taking good care of my bro', glad you enjoy his piano playing. Ever heard any Linford Detweiller? Soothing.

Looking forward to reading more.

Janna, we love your brother. He's been a good minister to us.

I'll look up Detweiller immediately.

Sadly, html may as well be zpng. I know nothing, so I paid a girl all my allowance to rig this up.

I'm on your blog all the time. It's so strange how I started reading the blogs in your circle without realizing how closely associated I am to a few of you. I think God is the coolest.
