The RunaMuck Relaunches and Gives Away Some Happy

When Shauna Callahan of See My Designs worked up this fresh design for me, I let out a deep smiling sigh of gratitude.  I come from a people who like to constantly rearrange their furniture, lop off their hair, or give away an entire wardrobe just to buy two new shirts. I enjoy a room of my own, and I enjoy new perspectives from that room as often as I can find them. The RunaMuck offers me that space, though today we’ll still be working out a few kinks.

This new starting place gives me a slate to work out a few new things. I won’t tell you what they are yet, but you’ll see as I develop some consistent themes. One theme for the months of April and May is my gratitude for you. I’ve asked a few amazing sponsors (see the sidebar!) to help me give back to you as you’ve given to me, such encouragement and support. I wouldn’t be sitting on this front porch if you weren’t rocking here with me.

***

My girlfriend, Ginny Mooney, is a life changer even in simple conversation, and not in a million years would she ever think that about herself. She oozes art and speaks often of the value and stewardship of life.

Her business is The Addition Shop, and around here and around other places, too, when you see a lady donning simple yet edgy mixes of earthy metals, you know she got it from Addition.

The time has come that she and her partner are trading time in this business with time for family, and their families will soon bring new ones home through adoption. From now on, all sales will go directly to funding their adoptions.

Here at The RunaMuck Ginny is offering $40 credit for the winner to use in her shop, OR the winner may choose to custom order a piece designed by Ginny herself.

If you live in Canada or the US, this is what you need to do to enter:

  • check out The Addition Shop and The Addition etsy shop, and leave a comment telling us how you would use a $40 credit there or how you would like a piece designed.
  • If you want additional entries, leave a link to how you spread the word about this giveaway through facebook or twitter.
  • You may have another entry for newly following The RunaMuck on facebook, twitter, and/or by subscribing in your reader or by email.

I am grateful for every visitor that pops in here. Thank you thank you thank you for taking time to ever come my way.

{This giveaway closes April 13th at noon central, and the winner will be announced April 14th with the start of another giveaway that makes me curl my toes to tell you about.}

Amber!!!!!!! It's perfect!!!! I love it! So fresh! I cannot wait to come back and visit now! I love, love, love, love, love! And I have no idea what I'd like from Ginny - if I win, pick someone else! :-P I just had to tell you how much I love your new look!!!

Wow. That was a LOT of exclamation points. Hee hee...

Amber, the redesign is gorgeous. But I'd come anyway -- I just love to read your words.

Ginny's work is gorgeous, too. I'm not good at jewelry. Too often I throw on my mama-clothes and dash out in a hurry, barely looking at myself. But perhaps a new necklace would fix that... I think that the classic uptown could be a new everyday staple for me!

I love being introduced to a new artist, and Ginny's (my sister's name, same unique spelling) art is lovely. I would love the Uptown Girl earrings for my 13 year old daughter. But, I love the Eliot necklace-the design but especially its meaning. Beautiful.

I like the simple uptown. ;) I don't have a lot of gold, and it would look pretty with my wedding ring and simple gold hoops. ;)

PS - the blog looks FAB, and I'm glad you didn't ditch the pretty rainbow splatter paint that so much reminds me of YOU! ;) (((HUGS)))

I really liked the earrings and the necklaces are so beautiful when they are layered. Very nice pictures on the pdf. I am fortunate enough to be close enough to a store to see them in person and purchase even if I don't win! Thanks for introducing Ginny's art.

Love, love the new look, Miss Amber! I also love all of Ginny's designs. If I had to pick one for myself, I'd say Park Avenue.

btw, have you heard the song "O the blood"? Our church choir is singing it and it gives me goose bumps.

VERSE 1
O the blood
Crimson love
Price of life's demand
Shameful sin
Placed on Him
The Hope of every man

CHORUS
O the blood of Jesus washes me
O the blood of Jesus shed for me
What a sacrifice that saved my life
Yes, the blood, it is my victory

Love the new look! The everything hoops are fantastic, but I might try the having something repurposed idea. I have some of my mother's costume jewelry that I can't really wear, but maybe she could work her magic.
