now we have a subtle way to ask for a new subject
The most laughable thing this week happened when Seth and I were on the road together. We had done a lot of talking, and for some reason “Come on shake your body, baby, do the Conga!” was stuck in my head (Gloria Estefan).
I have never known anyone with worse musical terets than I have. I can even sing all the instrumental parts, and it’s always random – at the strangest times. Long after I was singing the parts aloud, Seth had been talking for a while on one particular topic, and I guess subconsciously, I was ready for a different subject because I suddenly burst out with the transitional trumpet music that branches the chorus to another line in the song.
DA do da do – DA do dada.
He hushed up right quick and then burst into laughter. Now, I don’t think I can explain it any better than that, but y’all it was so funny I cried. Rudeness jumped out of my mouth trumpet-style before I even knew it.
Please please please please watch this. It’ll make your whole day.
