Stone Crossings by L.L. Barkat

I’ve been wanting to read Stone Crossings for a while, and now I have it with L.L. Barkat‘s kind signature and full of pressed flowers from New York. Get a copy. Let’s read it together.master bed

The Christmas Spirit

Now. Look at that handsome man. He has the jaw bone of Blue Steal. I love it.

This is Seth, my husband.Last year he Created Christmas for me and gave me the best present of all time ever. Read about it at He’s also known as @motherletter on twitter, which is funny because people think he’s a girl.

Seth is a visionary. I’ll never know another man so driven and full of compassion. Would you please help him out this year? As your Christmas gift to us, (you have to start early if you want to make it a good one) would you please help us make a different kind of Christmas catalog? We’ve got some stuff a brewing for Christmas, and I know you’ll love it.

So what’s making you happy today?

Tweet with me? I’m Amberrunsamuck.

Maybe this is too heavy for a comment, but I have the feeling you won't bat an eyelash at it. The first thing that came to mind - honestly - is "the way God is always waiting for me, waiting to take my hand and listen, and speak to me in the still, quiet place that we share." Could there be anything better? I'm no spiritual giant, but I know a paradise when I see it.

Can't wait to pop over and check it out. Right now, I'm happy because my baby is sleeping happily at her little school while I help bring a baby into the world....

I am happy today simply because I am loved.....
and I am just enjoying being me right now.

Happiness for me is reading stories to my 2 little miracles on a blanket under the tree in the front yard. Sunny and bright...outside, and in my heart.

Today I am happy because pre-school started, and it was good. And it could have been really, really bad.

Today my happy is for one of my best friends: she is on her way this moment to the air port to pick up her husband who has been away for 7 months at basic and tech school for the Air Force.
